Vigilance

I don't post here very much at all I know, but that is because I have been very busy. Writing mostly. I have a few really cool projects floating around in my brain box. I've mostly been working on getting some kind of spec script put together. One that I don't really intend on making myself but one that I can hopefully sell to someone and they can make it or butcher it, depending haha.
As far as school goes I've been put in charge of SFX on a project called Vigilance. It's about a vigilante goes fucks some guys up in a parking garage. It'll be a short and it was written by a teacher at my school, Matt Page. We had a choice between this and another shorter script that would have shot earlier. I loved this script and chose it because it was a lot heavier on the SFX. Now, I know close to nothing about film SFX or fake blood for that matter but it seems like it'll be a fun project to cut my teeth on and I think my team and I can pull it off.

It'll Happen Soon Enough

OK, I am probably the single worst blogger in the history of the internet. I even hate the word 'blog'. It just doesn't sound right to me. That being said, I have some cool stuff to share with you.
I've been pretty busy recently with various projects including a music video for a local band called Stephanie Hatfield and Hot Mess. I didn't do the music video myself but I helped as an AD on it. It was a lot of fun. Steampunk type stuff, very cool. I wish I had pictures of the amazing set the Art Department pulled together but I don't have a camera, I'm looking at you Santa.
As far as my own projects go, I just put together a channel on You Tube for some of the short stuff I've been doing. Not too much up there now, I have a lot more in editing limbo on my computer. There are a few stop motion test type videos on there as well as a short about two guys playing chess. I've been really busy with work and school so I haven't really had too much time to edit and upload anything new. I'm working the most on a stop motion about two guys chair racing. I need to add some SFX and other tweaking but it should be ready within the week.

Wow. I totally forgot about this one. It's been nearly a year since I last posted here. I've been writing like crazy recently so expect some good stuff here pretty soon.

The Beginning of the End

Here it is. The first post ever on the official Entertainment[Scam]Entertainment blog.

I'll be updating this blog with all kinds of good stuff having to do with all the latest news about the movies and other productions that we are starting to make here pretty soon. I highly recommend you follow or bookmark this blog because I plan on updating pretty frequently with production photos, videos, script passages and other nonsense.

So with that in place I think its time that I unveiled the movie we've been working on for a while now. We start shooting some time next week and I'll be sure to update with a lot of photos from the set and stuff like that.

The movie is called Gasmask and is a slasher film re-imagining. I've always loved the slasher genre and this is kind of our throw back to that. We are doing a few things a little bit different that the normal slasher but I'll wait for a future update to say what those things are exactly. I do have a teaser poster that I made a few minutes ago. This is just that, a teaser. The only thing on the poster that is true to the movie is the title. The mask that is featured is not the same type or color as the mask we are using in the movie. It's not even the proper dimensions for a movie poster but I had to do something for this first post, so here it is.
